Want to work hands-on with CNC multi-spindle turning machines and take responsibility for machine setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and quality?

At THUN, you will set up and operate CNC machines, resolve technical issues, perform maintenance, and help ensure consistent quality throughout production.

What you will learn

Your responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate CNC multi-spindle turning machines from Nakamura and Spinner
• Analyze and troubleshoot machine issues
• Work confidently with Fanuc controls; programming knowledge is not required but is a plus
• Read technical drawings and implement technical specifications accurately
• Operate and set up FMB bar feeders
• Measure and preset tools using Zoller presetting equipment
• Perform machine changeovers, maintenance, and servicing
• Independently carry out and document maintenance work
• Perform and document quality inspections using modern inspection methods
• Handle internal material transportation
• Assist with inventory counts

What you bring

You should bring:

• Completed vocational training as a CNC machinist or an equivalent qualification
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls
• Experience working with multi-spindle turning machines, bar feeders, and tool presetting equipment
• Strong technical understanding and mechanical skills
• Confidence reading technical drawings and implementing technical specifications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• An independent, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Teamwork skills, resilience, and reliability
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
• A valid driver’s license and access to a car
