Thun partners up with HEINZMANN and Radkutsche

Thun is keen to make its mark in the cargo bike market, especially in the B2B market for fleet operators. In this context the company is working in partnership with two leading players in the industry, each with their own specific area of expertise: the companies HEINZMANN and Radkutsche. Thun has collaborated with HEINZMANN to define the best torque sensor-based e-drive solution for ambitious and heavy-duty e-cargo applications. HEINZMANN’s CargoPower motor RN 111 combined with Thun’s X-CELL RT 3.0 torque sensor provides a coordinated system that considerably expands the battery range due to precise cadence and torque measurement. Meanwhile, Thun has also benefited from the cargo bike experience of the company Radkutsche. At Eurobike 2019, a state-of-the-art cargo bike will be on display at the Thun stand (A2-107) so that visitors can see for themselves what happens when all the right elements are optimally combined. The innovative cargo bike – a tricycle with a front-hub wheel motor – has been designed based on sensor precision by Thun, motor power by HEINZMANN (FG-0/210) and cargo expertise by Radkutsche (A1-724).
