Claudio Catania bolsters Thun’s activities in Benelux

Thun is bolstering its sales activities in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux) with the appointment of Claudio Catania as Key Account Manager for the region. Catania, who has been working for Thun since the end of 2018, has extensive hands-on experience of the company’s products. In fact, he was a professional cyclist in Belgium and Luxembourg for six years, during which time he competed in multiple races throughout Europe. Nowadays, while still a keen cyclist, he also enjoys tinkering with hands-on projects such as model aircraft and motorbikes in his spare time. “Following my short professional cycling career, I was looking for a new professional challenge where I could combine my understanding of mechanics with my passion for cycling. I’ve found precisely that opportunity at Thun, where I work closely with the production and R&D department and put our products through their paces,” comments Catania. “I’m happy to be able to bring my experience to Thun and to share my passion with customers throughout the Benelux region.”
