With the “SC” (SENSOR COMPATIBLE) system, Thun is now presenting innovative bb-sets for e-bikes in the entry level segment for model year 2022. A cadence sensor (not included in the scope of delivery) can be clipped in between the left crank and the bb-set. With SC, the seasoned manufacturer from Ennepetal offers the right bb-set for the booming market of e-bikes in the lower price segment. “OEMs in this segment are under enormous price pressure,” says Co-CEO Alexander Thun, explaining the new product. “With the SC concept, we enable them to still work with our high-quality bb-sets”.
The system is also available for 73 millimeter and 83 millimeter frame housings.
